Leo Mondragon, the sonic architect widely known as DJ Dragon, has charted an extraordinary journey through the realms of music, military service, and philanthropy. His musical odyssey commenced in 1999 in Jacksonville, FL, evolving into a prolific career that transcends boundaries.
Embarking on a parallel chapter, DJ Dragon dedicated a decade of his life to the United States Navy, enlisting in 1996. Through numerous deployments and unwavering dedication, he earned an honorable discharge—a testament to his commitment, discipline, and the values instilled during his military service.
This multifaceted artist not only commands the turntables but also the hearts of those touched by his altruistic endeavors. Engaged in various charitable organizations, DJ Dragon uses his influence to orchestrate melodic performances at charity events and contribute to causes close to his heart. His philanthropic efforts reflect a commitment to giving back that echoes the ethos of his Navy service.
DJ Dragon has not only crafted beats that resonate but has also graced the stage as an opening act for industry luminaries, sharing the limelight with prominent DJs such as DJ Live from 106 and Park and DJ Eskimo. His electrifying sets left an indelible mark at the Freestyle Music Awards, setting the stage ablaze.
